Mark 8:33

But turning around [His back to Peter] and seeing His disciples, He rebuked Peter, saying, Get behind Me, Satan! For you do not have a mind intent on promoting what God wills, but what pleases men [you are not on God's side, but that of men].


I pray that when I am witnessing for you Lord, that I will not lose sight of who You are in an attempt to appeal to men because of their tender consciences. For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? For if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
