We keep limited information on you depending on what you provide when you sign up. The minimum information required is:

Your AIM, MS Messenger, occupation and interests etc are all optional.
What we do with your information
When you are asked for personal information you are sharing that information with Stages of Strength alone, unless it is specifically stated otherwise. However, some activities will, by their very nature, result in your personal information being revealed to other users of the Stages of Strength site. For example, when you enter personal information when posting in the forums or in a chat room.
We never sell, advertise, spam or divulge your email to anyone outside of this Board. The only time we may give your email out to a third party is under the following conditions:
1. If required to do so by a legitimate law enforcement agency.
2. If we institute an abuse report against someone for violating our rules - in such cases, your email address and unique IP number would be used in the abuse report to the ISP concerned.
Your choices
If you choose not to register you will still be able to read the forums but will not be able to post messages. From time to time we may also disable certain features for non registered members (ex. you may not be able to perform a search function).
Termination of membership
Should you decide you no longer wish to be a member it is important you understand your posts will remain on this board under your username. Under special circumstances you may request your username be deleted and all your posts set to "guest".
Under no circumstances can we delete all posts made by a member - especially if the member has a substantial post count. This causes threads to become disjointed and not follow logically and deminishes the Board experience for everyone.
