We've probably read it all before or at the very least heard bits and pieces.

In the beginning God created the heaven and earth, the water, vegetation, trees and plants. He made morning and evening, seasons, days and years. He made birds and great creatures for ground and sea. He then said in Gen 1:26: "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. 28 God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over... over every living creature that moves on the ground." Sounds pretty "Heaven on Earth" And over all of this Adam and Eve were put in charge of.

Gen.2:8 Now the LORD God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed. 9 And the LORD God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground-trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. So it was a big beautiful world that Adam & Eve where given charge over… pretty much easy street. Oh, only one little obedience clause. "Leave the one tree alone.. tree of good & evil". That's it. Just work it, enjoy it, reproduce - have fun. It's all yours.

Interesting Thought: God, (who's image we were created after), created everything the same way. He would "say it" and then he would "see it". Depending on the version, he "saw" everything He "said" come to pass 10 times in just the first chapter! Wouldn't it be great if we would just "say it" and then "see it"!

Oh, that Sneaky Serpent
